Dhanya is a passionate retailer at the core. Connecting people and brands has been her primary interest throughout her career. She is the founder of Papreeka Tales, an instagram platform with 60,000 followers that promotes small conscious retail businesses and helps them scale both online and offline. She is very active in the women-led retail startup community in India.

She enjoys writing about retail brands and their journeys with growth.

She brings retail experience to her venture from running the largest flagship store of the Japanese-retailer UNIQLO in Singapore and leading the private-label brands of an e-commerce company ZALORA in South East Asia. She was the President of the Retail & Luxury Goods club at Columbia Business School, New York. As a teaching assistant to the Retail & Business class at Columbia, she interacted with a ton of international brands in New York, like Celine, Louis Vuitton, Baccarat, Farfetch and Michael Kors. She now heads the e-commerce business for one of the portfolio brands at Restaurant Brands International North America, connecting people with their food & scaling the share of digital sales for the brand.

She is an Engineer from National University of Singapore. She holds an MBA from Columbia University, New York.
